VPNTQ Quick Start
Go from account creation to a working client connection. Complete each step in order before moving on. If you already have an account or subscription, jump to the relevant section using the contents below.
Create an account and save your login details
Select “Start Free” below to open the account creation page in the VPNTQ user dashboard. Enter the username and password you want to use, then submit the form as prompted. No email address is required. Your username identifies your account, and your password is used to sign in later. Use a unique password that you don’t use on other sites, and check your input method, capitalization, and characters before submitting.
Once your account is created, open the account overview in the dashboard. Make sure it shows the account you just created, then save your login details. Your browser’s dashboard sign-in and your client’s connection are separate: the dashboard manages plans, orders, and subscriptions, while the client connects to international routes. Closing the dashboard won’t disconnect the client, and connecting the client doesn’t mean you’re signed in to the dashboard in your browser.
If an error appears after you submit the form, read it and update the relevant field rather than submitting repeatedly. If you already have an account, use the sign-in option to keep your orders and subscriptions together. You can sign in to the same account on another device to retrieve your subscription; there’s no need to create a new account just to install a client for another platform.
Choose a plan and check your order
Once your account is ready, open the plans section in the dashboard. First choose between a monthly subscription and a data package, then select the data tier. Monthly subscriptions suit regular use: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, or ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date, not on the first of the calendar month. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Check the plan details shown on the page before choosing.
If your usage varies, consider a data package: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, or ¥658/3000GB. Data packages don’t expire; use the data at your own pace. The main difference from a monthly subscription is how long you have to use the data, so don’t compare plans by total price alone. Everyday browsing and regular video streaming can use very different amounts of data. If you’re not sure how much you’ll need, start by estimating your usage and adjust later based on the usage records in your dashboard.
After choosing a plan, go to order confirmation and check the plan name, amount, and billing terms. Then pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. When you return from the payment page, check the order and plan status in the dashboard. A closed payment page alone doesn’t confirm that the order is complete. If payment went through but the dashboard hasn’t updated, refresh the order status and confirm you’re signed in to the right account before trying again. If you need help, submit a support ticket from the dashboard with your order details.
VPNTQ supports unlimited simultaneous devices and offers a 60-day money-back guarantee. See the refund policy for details. To compare all plan prices, visit the plans and pricing page. If you’ve made your choice, continue in the dashboard.
Get your subscription from the account overview
Once your plan is active, open the account overview in the user dashboard and find the subscription section. The subscription link lets your client retrieve the route configuration for your account. It isn’t the website homepage or your plan order page. Use the dashboard’s copy button to avoid missing any characters at the end of the link. If the expected option isn’t there, check that you’re signed in to the account used for the order and that the plan is active.
If the dashboard offers an import option for your client, use it if possible. After clicking, your browser may ask whether to open the app. Check that the app name is correct before proceeding. If you haven’t installed the client yet, do that in the next section, then return to the dashboard to import. If the app doesn’t open, copy the subscription link and use the client’s option to import from the clipboard or a link.
Your subscription link contains account access credentials, so keep it private like a password. Don’t post it in forums, screenshots, or online testing tools. If you need help, share the error message without the link or account details. This guide doesn’t provide working subscription links; you can find yours in the user dashboard after signing in. You don’t need to enter your account password on an unfamiliar website to import it.
After copying the link, leave the dashboard open so you can check your plan and subscription status later. If you think the link has been exposed, reset it using the dashboard’s available option, then update the subscription on your devices. For details, see the Help Center.
Install and import a client for your platform
Open the downloads section in the user dashboard and choose the VPNTQ client for your device. Sign in to get the Windows, macOS, Android, or Linux client; you don’t need a paid plan to download it. To connect, you’ll still need to check your plan and subscription status. iOS works differently, as explained below. We don’t provide direct installer links on this guide page. Start from the dashboard to find the right client and platform-specific instructions.
The goal on every platform is to see a list of regions in the client. A blank home screen or a connection toggle alone doesn’t mean the subscription has been imported. If the interface uses different labels, look for “Configuration,” “Subscription,” or an add option. After importing, select the newly added configuration so the client doesn’t keep using an older one.
Windows: Import from the configuration section
Choose the Windows desktop client in the dashboard, install it as prompted, and open it. Check the client’s home screen for a subscription import option. If there isn’t one, open configuration or subscription management and look for an option to add or import from a link or the clipboard. Paste the subscription link you copied from the account overview, confirm, and wait for the configuration to load. Some clients ask for a configuration name; this is just a local label and doesn’t change the subscription link.
When the region list appears, select the configuration you just imported and open the route selection screen. If the list is empty, first check that your regular network can reach the dashboard and that you copied the full link, then try updating the subscription. Avoid changing proxy modes or routing rules for now, so it’s easier to identify the source of any issue.
macOS: Confirm the import and allow the system connection
Choose the macOS desktop client in the dashboard, install it as prompted, and open it. Return to the account overview to try the client-specific import option, or add the link in the client’s configuration manager. If your browser asks to open an app, check that it’s the client you just installed. After importing, confirm that the configuration name and region list are visible, then switch to the configuration you just added.
The first time you connect, macOS may ask you to allow a network configuration or confirm a system permission. Grant permission only to the client you’re using, and follow the on-screen instructions. If there’s no permission prompt and the connection still fails, check the client’s status and error details instead of reinstalling it repeatedly. For more on connection modes and system network settings, see the full guide. For your first setup, leave the client’s default settings in place and continue with verification.
Android: Paste your subscription and approve the connection
Get the Android client from the downloads section in the dashboard and install it as prompted by your device. Open the app, go to the subscription or configuration page, and use the add option to import the link you copied. If the client can read your clipboard, check that it recognized the link from your account overview before confirming. Don’t paste the payment page URL or this guide’s URL as the subscription link.
Once the region list loads, select a configuration and the region you want to connect to, then start the connection. Android will show a network connection permission prompt; check the app name and allow it. If the app often disconnects in the background, check your device’s background activity restrictions for the app. The exact settings vary by device. For the initial check, keep the client open in the foreground, test a webpage, then see how it behaves in the background.
iOS: Get the app through the dashboard, then add your configuration
On iOS, use the App Store link provided in the dashboard. Access to this link requires a purchased, unexpired plan. If the page asks you to choose a plan first, return to the account overview and check your current status. Don’t use an installer from an unverified source instead. App availability in the App Store may also depend on your account region and the store’s status; follow the dashboard instructions and the store’s current prompts.
After installing the VPNTQ client, return to the dashboard and use the compatible import option, or find the subscription, configuration, or add-link option in the client. Paste and save your subscription. When the region list appears, select a configuration, connect, and allow the VPN configuration when prompted by iOS. Once system permission is granted, return to the client and check the connection status. Seeing the configuration added in system settings doesn’t mean you’re connected to the selected route.
Linux: Follow the import instructions for your client
Linux users can also get the client from the dashboard downloads section and install it using the instructions provided there. Open subscription or configuration management, import the link, and wait for the region list to load before choosing a route. System integration options vary between desktop environments, so this guide doesn’t cover command-line or routing setup. For help with permissions, system proxy settings, or other advanced issues, continue to the full guide.
Connect to a route and verify cross-border access
Once the subscription is imported, choose a region that suits your needs. For general access to international websites, you could start with Hong Kong, Japan, or Singapore. For region-specific content, choose a location supported by the service. A region name alone doesn’t guarantee a service will work. Streaming platforms and AI tools may also consider your account region, licensing terms, and risk controls, so check the actual result after connecting.
After connecting, check that the client shows a connected status and that any system permissions have been granted. VPNTQ uses bank-grade encryption, but the client’s connection status is only one part of the check. Open an international website you plan to use and make sure it loads, then try signing in or completing the action you need. Don’t rely on the color of the connection toggle to assume every app is using the connection.
To check your connection, open the on-site IP lookup and view the exit region visible to your browser. If the result doesn’t match your chosen route, first confirm that the client is using the configuration you just imported and that your browser traffic is going through the current connection mode. If the lookup tool can’t return a result, that alone doesn’t mean the connection failed. Also check whether the target site loads and what the client reports.
If the client says it’s connected but the service you want is still unavailable, disconnect, choose a route better suited to your needs, and reopen the site. For testing, use only the network tool you currently need; multiple tools can change network settings at the same time. If no routes load, check that your plan is active and that you have data remaining in the dashboard. If just one site has an issue, check its account or region requirements before deleting the entire subscription.
Once access works, keep the current configuration for everyday use. When the region list needs updating, refresh the existing subscription in the client instead of deleting and recreating it. You can also use the same account to get your subscription on another device. VPNTQ supports unlimited simultaneous devices. If you still need help, troubleshoot by symptom in the Help Center, or submit a ticket through dashboard support with your device platform, error message, and steps you’ve already tried. Be sure to hide your subscription link and account credentials.
